Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programmes at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht
Between 26 June and 3 July 2026, two students from Administration and Law took part in Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP) hosted by HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht in the Nerherlands. The programmes — Practical Leadership and EU off the Beaten Track offered participants a unique opportunity to combine academic learning with intercultural collaboration.
In Practical Leadership, the student explored teamwork, communication, and decision‑making through interactive workshops and real‑life challenges. Meanwhile, EU off the Beaten Track invited participants to look beyond the basics of European integration, discussing topics such as human rights, EU competences, and international cooperation. Both programmes encouraged reflection, creativity, and leadership in an international environment.
Beyond the classroom, the experience was enriched by discovering the charm of Utrecht — a city known for its canals, bicycles, and vibrant student life. Participants enjoyed a canal cruise, explored historical landmarks such as St. Martin’s Cathedral and experienced the lively atmosphere of local cafés and cultural spots.
It was a week full of learning, inspiration, and connection, proving that Erasmus+ is not only about academic growth but also about discovering new perspectives and building friendships across Europe.
