A modern teaching base in the centre of Bydgoszcz

Kujawy and Pomorze University in Bydgoszcz has its own modern teaching base of approximately 15,000 square metres. The University is located in the city centre,

at Toruńska 55-57 street.

The building is fully adapted to the needs of people with disabilities, supporting access to education and academic life for different groups of students.

KPU’s teaching facilities are located in the heart of Bydgoszcz, making the University easily accessible for students, staff, and visitors. All classrooms, laboratories, and administrative offices are housed within one modern building that supports academic education, practical learning, and everyday student needs.

The University is adapted to the needs of people with disabilities ensuring equal participation in classes, events, and student services.

Lecture Halls

Our halls are suitable for both large lectures and interactive sessions, providing clear visibility, good acoustics, and a welcoming academic atmosphere. These spaces reflect KPU’s commitment to offering a high‑quality learning environment that supports everyday teaching and student collaboration.

Mock Courtroom – Practical Legal Training

This classroom recreates a real courtroom setting, allowing students to experience legal procedures and develop advocacy skills. Through role‑playing and case simulations, participants learn how to present arguments, analyze evidence, and understand judicial decision‑making in practice.

Nursing Skills Laboratory – Hands‑On Medical Training

In the Nursing Skills Lab, students practice clinical procedures using professional equipment and realistic mannequins ranging from newborns to elderly patients. Classes are led by instructors who also work in hospitals, bringing real‑world experience directly into the training environment.

Construction Materials Laboratory

In the Construction Materials Lab, students explore the properties and strength of building materials using professional testing equipment. Practical sessions allow them to analyze structures, conduct experiments, and understand how engineering principles apply to real‑world construction.

Study & Research Facilities

The University Library offers a quiet study space, access to academic resources, and a growing collection of books and journals. Students can use the reading room, online catalog, and digital materials to support their learning. KPU also operates its own Publishing House, which produces academic monographs, conference volumes, and teaching materials, promoting the research output of the University.
